In addition to the sheer massive power, this amp can fine-tune the bass signal to perfection using its variable low-pass, subsonic, and bass-boost circuitry. The included wired remote lets you control the bass level from your captain's chair. Tough and efficient A conformal-coated four-layer printed circuit board, a sealed salt-water resistant heat sink, and stainless steel hardware ensure that this amp will stand up to salt, spray, high temperatures, and continuous high-volume playing. This amp uses Wet Sounds' patented MAXED™ power supply technology to achieve high power efficiently without straining your boat's electrical system. An onboard microprocessor monitors voltage, temperature, and more to protect the amp from damage. SDX2500 connection panel Convenient features The conveniently located power, speaker, and input connections are on one side of the amp, for neater installations, while the top-mounted controls are protected by a removable cover. You can connect two or more SDX2500 amplifiers together, using one as the master controller and the others as "slaves," in order to power a gigantic sound system. In addition, you can set the Wet Sounds logo badge to glow either red, white, or blue, to reflect your particular party mood. Installation Note: This amplifier's power consumption is beyond the capacity of most marine electrical systems. To power this amp, your boat may require an electrical upgrade that could include a high-output alternator and a second marine battery.
