Kenwood VFO-820 Remote VFO. Matching external VFO for the TS-820S series. Includes VFO interconnect cable. Kenwood TS-820S HF SSB/CW Transceiver. The TS-820S is one of Kenwood’s classic late-1970s hybrid transceivers, using solid-state circuitry with tube finals.
Up for your consideration is a Ten Tec Paragon HF transceiver. Radio is from the local estate of an avid amateur radio operator. Radio powers on and everything lights up but does not TX or RX. Sal is for radio only as pictured.
Excellent condition, working as it should. The optional 500hz CW filter is installed. A wonderful analog transceiver that is a joy to use. Working on all bands. This piece of gear is being listed "parts not working" due to it's age and dishonest parts swappers.
Unit powers on and is in overall good physical condition. This came as part of a ham estate where everything was consistently used, and well maintained in a climate controlled environment. This was in use and powered on before removal. His setup also included a 30S-1 that I will be listing soon for pickup/freight. However, I am not versed completely in this type of equipment. I am ONLY listing this as parts because I do not have the means or skillset to validate every potential feature as same as new on this unit. The first two digits of the s/n are 6K making date of mfgr Sept. 2016 just prior to the 'A' model release. Operationally, I am not a ham operator, so the unit is tested to power on only. I took close-up pics of the cover screws which show no tool marks indicating this unit has never been previously opened up.
