So the 1/4" male side, Left and Right, would carry their respective left and right programming of the stereo signal. Condition note: Item is new but has been opened. There was a problem in manufacturing and the left and right channels were not marked with the red and white band. So we identified the left and right and marked them with tape. So they're being sold as B stock for this reason.
