This assures you of a box that not only sounds the way it was designed to sound but also will give you the most life from your W7 subwoofer.All of our special edition boxes for W7 subwoofers have the following features giving you a beautiful enclosure.FEATURES:Internal bracing used to strengthen the panels of the box, anytime you can eliminate panel flexing in a box you gain output from power that would otherwise be wasted.Plexiglas port trim plate with W7 logo, we offer the trim plates in either black, red or white with a backer color of either black red or white as well. This really gives the box a custom look.All of our special edition W7 boxes now come with high quality 10-24 threaded inserts built into the baffle and include the mounting screws as well. Now you can feel confident when you bolt the speaker into the baffle using machines screws. This enables you to remove the sub for inspection or any other reason as many times as needed without ever compromising the integrity of the baffle.We use 1" baffles on our W7 enclosures. You may see others with thicker baffles, but here is the reason why we will not ever use a baffle thicker than 1" When you use a thicker baffle it actually chokes off proper air flow from around the back of the speaker basket. this is detrimental to the way subwoofers are designed to work. Plus our 1" baffle with the threaded inserts clamps the speaker to the baffle becoming basically one piece. The total net internal volume is 1.75 cuft. Built to JL specs, tuned to 36.7Hz. This net volume is arrived at after taking into account the displacement of the subwoofer. Specs are as follows: 31.5" wide, 13.5" high, and 13.5" deep. Weight: 42 lbs. The box comes complete with a recessed high quality binding post terminal cup that accepts up to 8 ga. wire. 12 gauge OFC wire is provided inside the box.
