You’ve got a whole bunch of old reels and/or tapes with music on them you’d like to dump to your computer but can’t because the belts on your old Akai X-2000 S/SD reel-to-reel are old, stretched, cracked or broken! And when you inquire about replacement parts from the manufacturer they say, “Belts??”. Well, guess what? Up for sale is this belt replacement kit for the Akai X-2000 S/SD Reel-to-Reel Tape Recorders. This belt replacement kit (NEW, recent manufacture) contains the PROPER size replacements for ALL NINE belts in this recorder. Not like some of the other belt sets you'll find on the internet, for these units. I orderd a set from one of these guys and received only five belts, three of which didn't fit. My belts are individually packed in labeled bags with pictures showing them installed on the unit. Yes, and the cassette player will even play, fast forward and reverse again! These will also work on the Akai X-1900 series Reel-to-Reels. Our belts are made of the highest quality materials and produced to the most stringent standards. Changing the channel can also help since there are 50 different frequencies on each side of the receiver. The channel/frequency you might be on can be incompatible with your area or even unavailable because it is already in use by another person or organization. A protective film is in place to ensure no scratches occur to the actual LCD screen prior to reaching the customer. Be sure to remove that film for a clear view of the LCD screen and its readings.
