I hooked my precision power supply to the volt meter and at 5 volts it indicated exactly 5 volts. Mount in 2 3/4 inch hole from the front. They are virtually identical except the face trim on one is different from the other. They are perfect for a battery charger or variable power supply. You can't buy meters like this today! Because all the major shipping companies will deny claims for items shipped in used boxes, I use new boxes for expensive and heavy equipment. I also double box any item that has tubes or glass, or is particularly fragile. This adds to the cost, but helps make sure your item arrives to you in the SAME CONDITION it was shipped.
