100MHz OCXO 20dBm out Step Recovery Diode driver -154dBc/Hz@2KHz OS PN issue 3!! This is for one 100MHz OCXO 20dBm out Step Recovery Diode driver fully tested. This PTI OCXO is a 100MHz SDR driver which generates a lower duty cycle pulse with a very fast rise time and slow fall time @ 100MHz and 20dBm so not to heat the SRD unnecessarily. This fast rise time also allows easy frequency multiplication just by adding a filter of your desired harmonic. If you wish to use this for a sine wave just add a 100MHz single pole band-pass filter. All that is needed for this is a 330nH inductor in series with a trimmer cap for 7.5pF. and you will have a great sine wave with all harmonics 30dB down. I have attached a time domain view and a frequency domain view showing the quality of this OCXO with a 10dB attenuator and this single pole filter attached. Power output in this configuration is 10dBm. Measured phase noise with filter @ 3 offsets is as follows: -152dBc/Hz@2KHz offset, -148dBc/Hz@1KHz offset and -125dBc/Hz@100Hz offset.
