These things use one CR2032 watch battery. I replaced with my own test battery. Screws are so tiny and a pain so i just left my battery in there. You will need to replace in a few months of using device. Plan accordingly. Comes with tiny screwdriver. Tested and works fine. Was able to connect using the app. Took screenshot(see last pic)
