Bracket Design Features: Adjustable Alloy Mirror Mount BracketThis adjustable radar mount attaches to the cylindrical post on the back side of a rear view mirror and allows the radar unit (not included) to be positioned just below the rear view mirror. The cylindrical post attachment feature is adjustable to accommodate a diameter ranging from (10mm to 50mm) in diameter and comes with optional rubber isolation pads for attachment. This radar mount is constructed of a rugged aluminum alloy and features a non-glare stealth matte black flat finish. This design also includes optional fasteners to eliminate the knobs for a cleaner installation if desired. V1 Stamped Cradle Bracket This kit also includes a rugged Metal Bracket used to cradle the V1's radar body. This eliminates the need for the OEM plastic bracket that is prone to failure. This bracket can be mounted along the linear body of the detector. Please test fit the position and determine where you want the radar attached to the bracket for your application. After the Mirror Bracket and Cradle Bracket are in the final position. Remove the 3M VHB tape backer and attach the V1 Radar Detector into position. Then attach the upper Metal Bracket portion with screws and include tool. This mount design is best used with a Direct Power source or a Mirror Power source.
